Over the last week or so, in one of our periodical clear outs, we realised that we had lost track of an awful lot of alts, therefore we're doing some spring cleaning.

If you press 'o' on your keyboard (and some peeps still don't realise you can do this) you can check everyone in the guild, and the notes by the names if you press 'guild status'.

Please check your own alts. If they do not have the name of your main by it, please whisper an officer and let them know. The note will then be updated.

We will be kicking all alts without a main's name by them on 1.4.09. It will then be up to you to ask for them to be reinvited and make sure they have a note by their names.

Please also remember, if you are still Tested rank, it is up to you to tell us when you have been in the guild for two weeks. Whisper an officer and tell them so they can put you into the correct rank.

As we have so few healers atm, our raiding has been a little disjointed. We have also have had problems with players signing and then not turning up to raids, arriving late and not watching the videos if they have not done bosses before. This is frustrating for those players who do take the time to show up on time well stocked with reagents and having watched the vids if needed.

Although we consider ourselves a mostly social guild (that will never change) We DO take our raiding seriously, therefore:

Raids WILL start on time. This is usually 8.00 pm game time during the week (7.00 pm GMT)

We will not be explaining tactics in future. Everyone will be expected to know their place in the raid. Healer/tank/special class assignments only will be given out.

In future, anyone who has not watched the videos will be taken out of the raid.

Anyone turning up late will not be added to the raid.

Anyone needing a summon after raid time will be docked DKP.

Please try to sign up for raids on guild calendar in advance and not leave it until the last minute. I know this is not always possible, but it is helpful for the raid leaders if they have a rough idea of who is coming several hours before the raid.

Group 3 temporarily stole the main healers from Group 1 to tank last night.
We successfully completed 2 quarters and a total of 9 bosses downed with only 2 party wipes throughout the entire raid.
The group consisted of Mithos and Ironite tanking; their first time in WotLK! They did a pretty damn good job of it, although on several notable occasions Mithos did forget his threat buff (who doesn't)!
Forfeit, Lilbeast and Cptpain covered the Über healing (and over-healing - I think Cptpain impressed Mithos with his 8million, putting in a good challenge to beat that over-healing!). There were few deaths and the healers managed every boss successfully. Finally down to the damage dealers who were Cathalbrien, Cartair, Kobaydwarf, Arius and Mildryd. Damage met appoximately 15k during the battle against Loatheb, according to Ironite's announcement on ventrilo!
During the run we managed to use all the gear that dropped for more main spec than off-spec, so everyone was a winner, as only 2 Abyss Crystals were created.
The continuation of Group 3 will commence on Monday 2nd March, where we will start with the 4 Horsemen, then swiftly back to the construct quarter to take down Grobulus, Gloth and Thaddius. Hopefully people will be able to get some of the frost resistance gear before we attempt to take down Sapphiron as its not an easy fight with no frost resistance (as some of us already know!). But as time is the master, we will have to see how that takes us!
