Last night our progressive Ulduar team went into Ulduar and, after 2 goes on Hodir, finally everything went perfectly. We not only got Hodir down, we got 2 achievements out of it, having not let our NPC's die and no one getting caught by flash freeze.

Bolstered by our success, we then went into Thorim and had a few goes. Some swapping of the separate teams was needed to get the right balance, but we got Thorim down on the fourth try.

As a reward, before raid end, we then had a ride on the train towards Mimiron, which was loads of fun.

Following a discussion with officers last night, we have decided on the following.

Anyone who joins in with a progression raid (Naxx 25, Ulduar, etc) will be granted the temporary rank of progressive raider until the raid is over. This means that you will be able to use the guild bank for repairs up to the cost of 100g.

So please sign up and turn up for your chance to progress and let the guild take the repair costs.

Please remember, if a 10 man raid is put up and 20-25 people sign up, the raid will be converted to a heroic raid. This means better loot and better progression for yourself and for Scions.

We have become a little more strict with our raiding rules. The main change is the sign up required and times of invites.

Please read the updates on the guild info section of the forum. There is also a rough outline on the guild info section of the ingame log, although because of lack of space, it is very short.

Guilds all over the world have problems getting 25 man raids together during the summer holidays, therefore, we will give 25 man raiding a break for a month or so and concentrate on 10 man raids only - unless 25 people sign up, then, of course, we are very much willing to change to a 25 man raid instead.

Knut has been busy this week sending out a newsletter to every member of the guild. It is still in beta form, but he wants you to mail him with any achievments, major dings or news you might have. Please read it.

Please mail him with news in game rather than putting it on the forum.

And please check out the forum every day. It only takes 10 mins of your time. If you are not registered for the guild only section of the forum, please let an officer know and they will add you.
